Administration

The Administration consists of professional and specialized units that support the Planning functions. The Directorate is coordinated by a Senior Director of Administration who is directly accountable to the Permanent secretary .These professional and specialized sections and units includes Finance, Accounting, Human resource Management and Development, procurement and Information Communications Technology, Public relations, Transport, Registry, Records ,library and Office Services.

Mission
To provide leadership in policy formulation, provision of quality information and statistical data and coordinating sound macro economic policies for sustainable development

Mandate

The mandate of the administration is to provide indispensable leadership, organization, guidance, coordination, support and facilities to the planning and other functional departments and unit of the ministry. The Administration is responsible for providing leadership and organizational capacity in the formulation, and implementation of ministerial policies and programmes as well as the day to day conduct of business.
