Launch of construction of Alupe University Students Hostels Project in Teso North, Busia County,Busia County by H.E. President Dr. William Samoei Ruto

H.E. President William Samoei Ruto launched a KSh1.17 billion student hostels project that will accommodate 1,025 students  at Alupe University in Teso North, Busia County on 31st October 2025.This investment aligns with the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA), which prioritizes education as a key pillar for equitable growth and empowering young people with the skills and environment needed to drive Kenya’s socio-economic transformation.
