HON. CAS Eric Simiyu Wafukho Gives Counsel To The Youth

The National Treasury and Planning, CAS Eric Simiyu Wafukho, challenged the young people not to sit back and be merely consumers of policy outputs but to be the very architects of public policy, projects and associated programmes, through strategic engagement under public participation as enshrined in the constitution of Kenya 2010.

Hon. CAS Wafukho said this while addressing the Utafiti Sera Conference on Youth Job Creation held in Nairobi with participants drawn from National and County government levels.

CAS Wafukho invited the participants to consider participating in the formulation of the Fourth Medium Term Plan (2023-2027) where young people can use the National Stakeholders Forum (NSF) platform to speak into the policies, programmes and projects together with associated funding.
