Grassroots Data Management Phase II Training in Marsabit County

Marsabit NGAO Administrators Undertake Training on Community Data Management Systems

Asssistant County Commissioners, Chiefs and Assistant Chiefs in Marsabit County are undertaking a three-day training on data management for evidence based planning at a Hotel in Saku Town.

The training aims to strengthen the capacity of local administrators in enhancing the quality, consistency, timeliness, and effective use of grassroots information in government planning, resources allocation, programmes and projects implementation, monitoring, and national decision-making.

The training is being conducted under the theme: "National Planning Architecture, Legal Frameworks and Community Data Systems."

The sessions are focusing primarily on the importance of reliable community-level based planning and ensuring that government interventions and resources respond effectively to the needs and priorities of local communities.

The training further seeks to strengthen collaboration between national and county government structures and promote effective systems for collecting, sharing, analysing, and applying grassroots information in the public service delivery.
