Partnership Agreement Between The State Department For Economic Planning And The United Nations Children’s Fund
The State Department for Economic Planning and United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) today, officially signed a partnership agreement aimed at strengthening Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) system in the Country.
During the signing at the Treasury Building, the UNICEF team, led by the Chief of Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation, James Hedges, highlighted the organization’s continued technical and financial support in enhancing National M&E structures and advancing key development frameworks.
On his end, the Economic Planning Principal Secretary, Dr. Bonface Makokha emphasized on the importance of this collaboration especially in achieving shared goals which include; the Fourth Medium-Term Plan (MTP-IV) review, Kenya Vision 2030 evaluation, Capacity Building, and Data Systems improvement.
The agreement reinforces ongoing collaboration geared towards supporting effective planning and reporting at both the National and County levels.
