The Principal Secretary for the State Department for Economic Planning (SDEP), Dr Bonface Makokha today 19th February, 2026 appeared before the Parliamentary Departmental Committee on Finance and National Planning at Bunge Towers.
The purpose of the meeting was to give the State Department a chance to present a detailed Budget Policy Statement (BPS) for the fiscal year 2026 highlighting it’s programmes, activities and commitments derived from its mandate which is anchored on the executive order No.1 of 2023.
