Upcoming Capacity Building Programme For County Governments

‎The State Department for Economic Planning is set to Launch its Capacity Building Programme for County Governments on Economic Planning and Strengthening National-County Integration Mechanisms on 7th October, 2025 in Busia County.

‎This initiative reflects the Government’s commitment to strengthening National and County integration as well as advancing sustainable development while promoting environmental stewardship.

‎

‎Furthermore, the programme will serve as a cornerstone in promoting  inclusive and participatory planning while mainstreaming gender, youth, climate change, and marginalized groups which is in line with the Bottom-up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA) and Vision 2030.

‎The event will bring together County Directors of Planning, representatives from Governors’ offices, County Assemblies, together with National Government Officers from the State Department.
