This Handbook has been produced by the Ministry of State for Planning, National Development and Vision 2030 under its mandate of monitoring the Vision 2030 and its First Medium-Term Plan. It is designed to enhance managerial productivity by providing an easy reference to the key national socioeconomic and governance performance indicators and flagship projects undertaken in the period 2008-2012 and sub-national performance indicators for districts and constituencies.

Government Launches Social Budgeting Guidelines |

NAIROBI, Kenya – June 9, 2010: The Government of Kenya, through the Ministry of State for Planning, National Development and Vision 2030 today launched the Social Budgeting Guidelines in Nairobi. The Guidelines, which come after five years of piloting the Social Budgeting initiative in seven districts, aim to standardize the mode of implementation in preparation for the national roll-out of the programme.
